corymcarthur 0 Posted March 21, 2009 hello i am new to vw and the corrado... i picked up this car after is has been sitting for 7 years. now the car is running great but for some reason i can not find reverse (it is push down and up to the left beside 1st right?) the car is a g60 if that matter's and its also a canadian car. now i can find 1st 2nd and third... but they are spaced far apart thats why i thought it might be the linkage, i have yet to take it on a highway or a road with a kph over 50 so i haven ot tested 4th or 5th but im pritty sure i can find them either... maybe 4th but i really dont think 5th . can someone please help me out on this Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Toad 0 Posted March 21, 2009 Might be that the circlip on the gear lever base missing. Lift the ear lever surround up and look to see if the side to side movement of the lever causes the actual lever to slide on the pivot pin. I can't quite word that correctly right now... Sorry!
