Hey,

 

The build sticker on all Corrado's, which should be both in the boot and in the service book, has a load of three-character codes at the bottom. There's usually about 15-20 codes, and these are VW-speak for the various options that your car was specified with from the factory. Some of them aren't very exciting but its quite interesting to see what your car came with!

All you need to do is enter each code seperated by a semi-colon ' ; ', dead simple. Just so you see what it looks like, here's the decoded codes taken from the build sticker of my 1995 2.0 8V :)

 

X2B = National sales program Great Britain

B0N = Component parts set, complying with vehicle type for Great Britain, various parts

C5W = Cast alloy wheels 7J x 15

G0C = 5-speed manual transmission

H0U = Tires 195/50 R15 V

J1P = Battery 220 A (44 Ah)

Q1D = Sports front seats

1AC = Anti-lock brake system (ABS)

1G4 = Space-saving spare wheel

1ML = Leather trimmed sports steering wheel

3AE = Right exterior mirror: flat, electrically adjustable and heated

3BF = Left exterior mirror: convex, electrically adjustable and heated

T8A = 4-cylinder gasoline engine 2.0 L unit 037.K

3FD = Electric sliding/pop-up sunroof

9BA = W/o additional electric safety package

9HA = Without additional malfunction display

9C2 = Without special low beam mode but with "coming and leaving home" function

8GD = Alternator 90A

8RL = 6 speakers (passive)

8TD = Rear fog light for driving on the left

4A3 = Seat heater for front seats separately controlled

8BF = Halogen headlight for driving on the left

8WD = Integrated front fog light

1BA = Standard suspension/shock absorption
