krnau 0 Posted May 4, 2009 Quick one! I cleaned my ISV by supplying it 12v and then putting it into a glass full of fuel. OK. while reveiveing 12v, the ISV kept opening-closing-opening-closing-opening etc.... all of time, sounding like a TR TR TR TR is it ok? or once receiveing 12v it should keep open?? or just opening-closing all of time? thanks :D Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
aide 0 Posted May 4, 2009 not really certain what the problem is! is your ISV nt working? the isv only operates when the micro switch on the throttle body is depressed, i've never forced one to work off the motor, they do buzz when operating however so this would suggest a rapid opening/ closing.
