why is the back higher than the front?

just wondering why vw set the corrados suspension higher at the back, i,ve just bought wietec suspension and when i come to fit it should i keep it higher at the back or can i set the car up level. all info on pros and cons of both setups greatfully recived THANKS

i've never noticed they were higher at the back, an optical illusion perhaps!?

 

when fitting new shocks i've always levelled them the same to all arches anyway

I know what you mean mate! I've got a nugget yellow raddos 90, bought g60 lowering springs for it with 17" rims and the back is higher! Full tank of fuel and 4 people in it and it looks nice!!
