switched spark plug wires, now car hesitates???

So i switched my spark plug wires today and now my C Hesitates when i try to start it and wont stay on, i switched back to my old ones (which worked fine) and same thing. the car wont stay on i turn the key and its trying and trying it gets up to 1000x rpms but as soon as i let go of the key it dies. help??? car started fine before.

idk if this will help but the spark plug wires came off another 90 g60, but they were red, not sure what brand

Well unless you've been doing other things, it sounds directly related to changing the plugs and as you still have the problem when the old plugs (that worked ok) go back in, you can pretty much eliminate them as the problem.

 

Sooo, as a starter, have you got all the leads back on securely AND in the right order?

Make sure you check the gap on the plugs, you still have to gap check new plugs. Hope that helps

wrong order hehe thats what you do to u your mates car just to wind him up , and yeah it would have ran like a bag of sh*t
