Blue and brown wires in boot

Recommended Posts

just tidying the wiring mes from a previous owners alarm and ice install. have found wires in boot that were tapped into the boot light for the alarm. But when i have tidied up the extra wires from custom wiring i have too many wires for the boot light. I have a light blue wire and a black wire and also have a dark royal blue wire and a brown wire that are a twin cored balck cable that runs towards the front of the car and is properly clipped into the wiring harness so i assume is original. Does anyone know what the wires are all for? everything works as it should at the back ie spoiler, wiper, lights so i am at a loss what these wires will be for? anyone with any help or links to a wiring diagram would be great. Have done a search and cant find a diagram, but i did find one yesterday but foolishly did not save it and cant find it again today doh!!

does the corrado have a factory fitted sub? The rca leads i took out had a switch cable and there was a spare cable with the earth and power cables which i removed running front to back under the carpet. The wires in question are clipped inside the rear quarter and run down the side of the car. pretty sure they are factory fitted wires but just dont know what they would be for. will get a meter on them tomorrow and see if there is any voltage there. Might also have the rear side panel off to see where it goes. cheers jez
