pipercross/k&n airbox filters - worth it?

been looking at items such as:

as opposed to an aftermarket induction kit (i've got a totally unmodified g60 and i'd like to try and keep it like that)

 

would i notice any difference by using one of the k&n/pipercross air filters that replace the standard filters in my air box? waste of money or worthwhile investment? the air filter needs changing anyway by the way

do not run a pipercross on a g60 use a k&n if the filter needs replacing i would stick a k&N in

million mile Warranty and sounds better not sure on the bhp gains

i put 1 in my vr i think its worth it

I would just use a standard paper filter in a G60- the charger doesn't like ANYTHING coming through with the air and a K&N will let some tiny particles through. Just my 2p :)

My advise would be to stick with the original filter (191 129 620 for G60) no gains with pipercross/k&n filters.
