quick aerial question

Recommended Posts

Hi, as some members in here, I removed the arial's amplifier which, by the way, was rusted.

while I was puting the aerial back in the car, I took the car's antenna wiring with my hand and the radio had a full quality at that moment (in a -2 level garage!). so... could a long, long very long wire be attached to it and leave the aerial disconnected??

that was YOU acting as the antenna. the aerial has to be outside the car really (or on a window) to get a good signal. Radio waves don't travel through sheet metal too well.

I am a good antenna though

I would like to hire you for long journeys, as my reception is a bit pants. How much per day?
