Engine Steam clean

Hey Guys,

 

Anyone have any opinions on this?? I Have just seen a lads engine who just had it steam cleaned and it came up really well. My concern is any damage to electrics etc...my car runs perfect so dont wanna cause it any trouble!! :pale:

steam cleaned my engine on the corrado yesterday, i used copolymer truckwash diluted,and the pressure washer, i left it running all the time i was pressure washing it,and it looks brand new :D i have not experienced any running problems what so ever. :clap:

i dont have any of it before but can take some of how it now looks?! just as soon as my camera decides to work!!!!! :brickwall:

as a car valeter/detailer this is something i do on a daily basis, the secret is to try and stay away from plugs/dizzy cap, and leave it running!! depending on how dirty it is you can sometimes get away with a bucket sponge normal car shampoo and a hose :D

any decent valeting company shall do, they all know where to and not to spray with water :D not too sure how much they charge though :confused4: we charge £15 for a full engine clean but these prices vary depending on where you go :D

Sounds good... Anyone know somewhere in Camberley area to get this done?

I live about 6 miles from Camberley so count me in as well if somewhere nearby is good. I'm too lazy (and scared) to do this myself...water and electrics...not a good mix :shock:
