Ginger60 0 Posted November 15, 2009 Guys I want to ask anyone who may of had their supercharger overhauled by G-Werks, or anyone else, what the comments on the service & general outcome on the performance was? Any info would be much appreciated! :salute:
Toad 0 Posted November 15, 2009 Moving to suppliers. Can you please post in the correct sections. Thanks.
Jim 2 Posted November 15, 2009 Think G-Werks have gotten plenty of satified customers over the years! To be honest, there aren't that many charger specialists about anyway - G-Werks are probably as good as you're going to get in this country unless you go abroad to someone like Kompressor Kanada but postage costs and the ever present robbing f*cker taxman slapping on import duty would negate any savings you'd make from getting it done abroad.. mimjed 0 Posted November 15, 2009 g-werks, pit stop developments, jabbasport or dg auto (i think dg) are the ones ive heard about. all offer pretty much the same service and i would expect the outcome to be fairly consistant from all of them. if youre feeling brave you can buy the service kits of e-gay last one i sent was to pit stop, fast service and recieved phone calls to state condition and what was being done etc. nothing to complain about thats for sure. Jim 2 Posted November 15, 2009 DG don't overhaul chargers... yet... think they're something they're wanting to look into doing though :)
Philmo 0 Posted November 15, 2009 Not trying to be critical but I think a more specific request would get a hugely more focused response! Are we talking G60, Vortech, Rotrex or other here? G60 - I've heard Gwerks highly spoken of. Vortech - NS Racing are the importers and all refurbs are executed in US via NS. Rotrex - not heard of a commercial specialist but JoniVR6 up here in sunny Yorkshire has done his own refurb and may well point the way to economic advantage. Other - dunno! Hope this is helpful. :D
mimjed 0 Posted November 15, 2009 oh? i thought i read a post about dg finding two apex seals randomly missing and replacing, maybe it was a one off then. im certain about all of the others though :D
Philmo 0 Posted November 15, 2009 Hey! If D&GA do it - I'm sure they will do it well! Regards A satisfied customer. :D
shaung60 0 Posted November 16, 2009 G-Werks or JMR. Both based in Littlehampton, West Sussex. Both been around for years.

I'm not sure they are set up for full overhauls yet but give them a ring just in case- I'm certainly very happy with what I drove away with

bristolbaron 10 Posted November 17, 2009 oh? i thought i read a post about dg finding two apex seals randomly missing and replacing, maybe it was a one off then. im certain about all of the others though :D Except pitstop, who closed about 2 years ago!! Gwerks is your best bet, Storm Developments is the other which hasnt been mentioned, but arnt worth mentioning for G60's..
