exhaust advice needed

Recommended Posts

hi guys great to be back , i havent been on here in a long time! hope all in the forum is well.

sorry to be coming straight back for a favour lol

i have recently been completely diddled by local "specialist" i got to do me a custom exhaust system for my 'c', i was charged just short of 300 which i thought was ok! till i got the car back they had fitted it with no rubber mounts apart from the one rubber bush above the central hangers! blow and behold driving to cornwall the next day it snapped! the mounting point for the back box that is! because it was fastend using a length of metal welded to the back box then to the chassis! yes thats right i couldnt belive it my self! so as soon as i found this out i phoned them up and booked it straight back in! oh also at this point the middle of the exhaust is blowing like the missuses hair drier!

suffice to say i took it back they sorted it, but then hadnt, then took it back then hadnt! they then had it for a week charged me another load of money to fit a special flange join at the exhaust mani ( i have a 4 into 1) and i have got it back and its gone again! im fed up extremely peed off! and just want my baby back on the road! sorry for the long rant i could go into much more detail about thier telephone mannor, but i wont lol.

i just need to know where is a really good place that is reliable and not too costly and within a 3hrish drive of brighton to get a new system done properly once and forall! also do guys think i have any grounds to take this to trading standards? or any other route to try and recoup some of the costs!

thankyou in advance cheers guys

(sorry for grammatical errors and spelling, im kinda just smashing the keys out on the board im that close to the end of my teather on this one lol)
