Chris 0 Posted December 7, 2009 Hi, think this maybe an easy one.... for you guys who have experienced 2.0l 16v (under car) fuel pump issues. mine decided to pack up last week so i replaced it for a new one. all was well but ive noticed that it is buzzing very loud every now and then (not the normal buzz you get), it will go away for a bit but then it comes back. im pretty sure its the tank lift pump that is at fault and the new fuel pump is not getting enough fuel supply which is making it whir loud i guess like any pump would if the supply wasnt there. sound about right? or am i missing something.
