ray_vr6 1 Posted December 11, 2009 Hi Just had a set of spax coilovers fitted last week and for the last couple of days the rear set are making a "creaking" noise when put under any sort of load including bouncing them by hand. I will get the guys who fitted them to check it out but I am 250 miles and 1 week away from that happening - anyone got any ideas hat I might be able to do myself to sort? herisites 0 Posted December 11, 2009 This may be because they tightened up the bottom strut bolt with the car in the air and no load on the suspension. To rectify, loosen the nuts, put the car down to take the load and then torque them up. Should stop the creaking then. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
