Fabia VRS rear brakes

Recommended Posts

Anyone know what I need to fit these to my Storm.

Will they go straight on, or do I need different hoses.

Ive got a DG kit for the front 288's, but they dont have anything for the rear and are not sure if the hoses will be right

Anyone???

Basically, bought the whole caboodle of a VRS.

All the carriers, calipers, discs and pads

And they're all 2007, which is a bit newer than my VR6. So I thought I'd put the whole lot on. The front is a big improvement (280-288). The rear is just newer and really no different.

Fact they're all spangly green and my Storm is too is irrelevant

The rear calipers should fit if the discs are non vented (9mm) - you just nee the Goodridge conversion hoses.

They should just be the same a mk4 ones I think but powdercoated green.

You won't fit the discs etc without a whole load of other parts as they are a completly different setup

I had these on my old one. Calipers with Rado Carriers and solid discs..

IF you are going to paint these you will need to prime them first as paint wont take on bare aluminium..

So I basically use rado carriers/disks/pads

And the new Fabia/Mk4 calipers with the Goodridge mk 2 to mk 4 conversion kit??

Need to paint the rado carriers then

Thats knackered me in fitting the new disks front and rear this w/e, dont really want to change the brake fluid twice, expensive waste of Dot 5

Looks like it'll be just the new wheels :)
