mine has just the single bottle with a two way pump. Might make a good mod thou... where would you put it? next to the existing in the engine bay?

Do golfs have these? cus you'll need to sort out the wiring loom at the same time, would be nice just to swap over the looms.

seems like a bad idea, whenever I used to fill my old polos rear washer bottle I'd drip screenwash into the boot :)

you could fit a second filler flap on the other side of the car I suppose

i'm not attempting to do it  It's just because I found this picture on the net and I remembered that my rear washer doesn't throw any watter on the glass   so this would have been another missing bit of my corrado

tbh... Apart from the fact it takes 2 years for the water to get to the rear wipers, there isn't anything wrong with the existing set up is there? The one bottle works fine for me. If i was to attempt to mod anything to do with the washers id try to get the water coming out the top of the rear window instead of popping out the whiper like it does... Spraying the car behind me. Although, Its quite amusing when your in a car park! i can spray the ppl walking past with little jets of foamy water

do you not get any water through then? It does take a while to get back there from the engine compartment

i've never seen water coming out of it; however, i've never held the lever for so long

but I like the idea of spraying people :norty: :norty: I used to have a clio, in which I had one of the hood's washer nipple looking at the right side of the car in order to spray people that were crossing in red and so on :norty: :norty: :norty: :norty: :norty: I remember an old man that started crossing when the lights were already RED for him, he crossed calmly, with a face on like saying "haha, stay there, wait until I've crossed!"...... but hey, time for shower :norty: :norty: :norty: and he stopped in the middle of the road, writing down my plate number on a piece of paper, saying that he would report it to the police etc... so he got a second free shower while he was saying this

norty!

Try taking a wire brush to the nozzle at the bk. Its sits on the joint of the washer arm (where the washer turns) Or better still, remove it and give it a good clean. They often get blocked so that may be the problem. After that i would check the motor on the bottle, can you hear the motor working when you activate the washer? If it is working then just leave it on for a while and get a mate to check to see if anything comes out. My washer takes about 30-45 seconds to get the liquid to the back of the car but i think thats because i have a leak somewhere down the pipe run :(

:| I think I'll better remove that pipe  I never use it anyway so I prefer not having any water transported to the back of my car, just in case the pipe broke.. yes, I'm a magnet for things breaking!

if you're having problems with it taking forever for the water to get to your rear washer, you need to fit a one-way-valve into the pipe to the rear washer just by the washer bottle and one just before the boot lid... this will stop the water draining back out of the pipe between uses and mean that it's a lot quicker for the water to get out of the pipe when used... :)

Early MK2's used a rear bottle that would maybe fit - you'd have to run wiring to it though...

the early mk2 ones tuck nicely into the mk2 rear quarters, they don't fit well anywere in the rear o a corrado, and are a nightmare to source, I've got a mk1 rear washerbottle in my boot
