Chassis number query

Recommended Posts

Right, Im getting together some bits for a good service, and have a query about the part number system on ETKA and chassis numbers.

Mine is 50-RK-004-644.

For instance for handbrake cables, there are 2 options:

>>50-S-000-361

50-S-000-362>>

I take it mine is before 'S' then, but why do I have a 'K' after my 'R'?

Should I assume that ALL bits will be correct aslong as I stick to the chassis number system for mechanical parts??
