ben_wooduk 0 Posted April 24, 2010 Just rebulit my sunroof which now tilts and slides lovely on the allen key! I have fitted the sunroof back in and trying to time the sunroof motor. With the power plugged into the motor but the motor disconnected from the sunroof ... I press the tilt button and the cog rotates a couple of times and stops immediately (with a click). I press the close button and the cog rotates a couple of times to the closed position and stops immediately (with a click). . . . . All good! Then i press the slide button and the cog rotates a couple of times and dies with a click (as if its losing power) I can press the slide button again and it will rotate half a turn and then die again. (can do this continuosly!!) From this stage, to move the cog to the closed position again i will need to press the close button repeatedly as the motor clicks and dies! Does all that make sense?? Anyway, has anyone else had this, is my motor keput? Or with a sunroof guide and a Bently manual am i being an absolute tool?
