jacking up

is it alright to jack up the car on the front wishbones under suspension. Car wont drive up onto car ramps without hitting the front. Side jacks dont go high enough

If you can find a scaffolding board and chop it in half you should be able to get onto your ramps.......

Dont no why i didnt think of planks. Thick as a short one prehaps.

Bit of a plug for Philuk - if you have those metal ramps Phil (philuk) can sell you some ramp extension to help lowered cars get onto the ramps.

I was under the impression that putting axle stands under the subframe at the rear wishbone bolt was the recommended procedure? I've got an annotated phot showing the jacking points somewhere...

Yeah that is the best place to support IMO - so you don't damage any underseal.
