daleyboy 0 Posted June 7, 2010 Does anyone know if powerflex do a bush for the drop link on the front arb? Or am i better of getting a normal rubber one from the stealers? Can you buy them seperate? My drop links are fine just the bush that doesnt look that good. Also while im at it i ordered a front wishbone, rear, powerflex bush but have an genuine vw rubber front bush (only bout a year old) do you reckon this would be ok or should i go fully poly? The car isnt my daily, just a project/summer car so dont care much about comfort, just want it sharp handling. Any help/input would be appreciated, cheers. Supercharged 2 Posted June 9, 2010 Is there actually a bush on the VR - I thought it just bolted to the side of the bar? If you want sharp handling then fit the TT/R32/LCR rear wishbone bush - don't bother with poly!
daleyboy 0 Posted June 9, 2010 It bolts onto the bar then the other end is a small bush with a bolt through it attaching it to the wishbone. I tried a mk3 golf vr6 with polybushes and quite liked it, i'll give it a go if not then revert back to rubber..... :camp: It was more a question of mixing rubber and poly on the same wishbone, perhaps not a good idea decided to go full poly, i like my dampers quite hard and it seems to float around a bit even on new oe rubber Cheers anyway............ :salute:
