This problem is really frustrating! intermittently it runs like a dog, I think its fuel related since i have recently changed all the ignition parts. some days i'll start it and runs fine (usually in the morning) then other days, or in the afternoon it runs like a pig. these are the symptoms: • slow idle 200 rpm approx • throttle open no response, it dies unless you really gentle feather it up to speed • eventually it warms up and runs OK but still does not feel responsive • when driving you open up the throttle and it hesitates to pick up, response is dead jerky • going down a really steep hill, afterwards it seems better any thoughts??????????? :cuckoo: Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Guest chajo Posted July 8, 2010 Thanks fot advice. checked the plugs little bit blacker than i would expect. guess thats a sign of it running rich. next thing i was gonna check is the mixture my mate has a lambda sensor with digital read out, as for the sensor on the car i have no idea if that has been replaced. Is it a bitch to get to?
