Rear Koni nuts etc

Just been doing the coilovers on the rear of the VR, thought the bolts and collars would be interchangable but no! Where do you get nuts and the other bits to finish the top of the rears off?

Had this same issue myself. I went to Lark speed and they were fcking useless. In the end i got some from a local DIY shop. If you search for 'Koni top mount nuts' or something like that and look for it as me as author, there should be a thread. If you have no luck, let me know i can get some for you and post them on.

Cheers, thought i was nearly there then the metal collars and 2 nuts are to small!! Oh the joys!

Yeah, they are 1mm bigger - The bits come in the Kit so I'd contact Koni or a supplier.

 

You will also need to drill out the top plates too although I'd buy new ones and also wax them.

Where can you buy the correct plates? Coilovers are 2nd hand thats why they didn't have the nuts/plates

Possibly. Its the thread pitch that matters too. 1.25 sounds about right. Let me see if i can find the topics when i asked the same question.

We deal with Bapp at work! On a 2 week holiday shutdown though. Thanks for all you help mate, hopefully get the gal rolling tomorrow, just need to drill the top plates now,
