Master clutch cylinder

I have 2L 16V Corrado, the master clutch cylinder has went on it.

The part that VW are supplying is from a mark 4 golf setup.

This doesnt fit the corrado setup.

Does anyone know if there is anything else needed to make it fit?

Or does anyone know where i can get the original part?

That's not right, the MK4 part should no be supplied - it's plastic for a start.

 

The one VW supply sometimes needs a later pedal fitted too which is another £20

I agree with the above. Put one in my VR6 recently and had to fit the later pedal set up as well . Parts fitted read as below.

 

Master cylinder Part no S358721388

Clutch pedal Part no S3A2721315

Mounting Part no1H0721357

Guide Part no 191721421

Thanks for all the help guys, but i was getting the part from GSF and the guys there did a bit of investigating.

After looking through photos of Master clutch cylinders, they found the right one.

The right one is actually off a left hand drive corrado and Passat from 1988 to 1995.

So if anyone else has this problem, tell them to go to GSF and ask them to look up the left hand drive model.

They will get the right part this way.
