advice please how to tidy the engine bay...

ok ive used the search and found not much really , there are plently of pics of engine bays etc but nothing i can start from....

 

 

i started to strip the front end of my car today and got as far as taking the rad out and a few coolant pipes and i got thinkiing about a seed that had been planted by a friend of mine earlier on.......smooth the bay !!! yesssssss

 

 

but no i dont want to go that far but i do want a nice neat bareish bay ???

 

what can i get rid of ??

what do i absolutly have to have for mot etc...? carbon canister?

what can be moved and where?

 

where the hell do you re-route the wires?????? do i need to extend any??

 

 

should i ditch the abs while ive got the motor out???

 

 

all hints tips concearns benifits please...

Cheers Matt looks good bud but, not really what I was looking for, not going that far with it I just want a general tidy up and need to know where things go...it's such a birds nest under the bonnet
