HELP can i get smaller top mounts for corrado

hi people. i need help, i have just gone air ride on my corrado vr6 and on the rear i cant get it lower enough and thats with no pressure on bags, some 1 told me i can use polo top mounts, can this be done. or is there another route......i dont want to cut the mounts down, as i think its dangerous and dont know who has. is cutting the mounts down a idea? please help some1, when i had original coilovers i could go flat out, now with air ride kit, i cant go low has before.. can i even get a smaller nut on top between spacer and rubber mount or somthing
