battery relocation, alloy header tank and oil cooling...

Right im finally making a bit of progress on the valver. My list of things to get done by the show season is as follows; convert k-jet to bike carbs, relocate battery, and neaten up the engine bay. So...

 

Has anyone reloacted their battery to the boot and if so how? ive heard that the battery needs to be vented, how would i go about this?? im guessing to get it to the boot is a case of heavy duty wire to the boot and earthing apropriately?

 

Also what benefits apart from looking cool does an alloy header tank have as i was thinnking about putting one of those in the engine bay to help neaten it all up?

 

and finally...

 

Is there any point in running an oil cooler? iv heard their complicated to fit and just wondered if its worth it??
