vr6storm 0 Posted March 23, 2003 right according to my service book 40k service is basically an oil-change,inspection all round the car...fluid levels checked etc and spark plugs renewed(don't let vw charge you £20ea :shock: for the plugs btw).....might be an idea unless its been done recently to get the fuel filter changed(approx £20 all in.........well thats my vw-stealer price for doing the fuel-filter).....also every 24months its wise to get the coolant drained and refilled and also the brake fluid changed also word to the wise...........say you'll supply the oil......i didn't the first time i had mine vw-stealer serviced and they put in esso ultron fully synthetic at approx £7+ per litre :shock: Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
