Co-Pang-Yang 10 Posted May 24, 2011 Dropped the Golf head off at the engineers this morning, gonna change the exhaust guides as well as the other bits. Also finished getting the Rado's engine ready to remove the head. Un-bolted the down pipe and remove the manifolds. Just leaves the timing chain, cams and head bolts but gonna wait till the new parts are here and the new head is ready to go on. Hopefully that'll be the weekend. Parts that i'm planning on changing are: Full head gaskets set Head bolts Thermostat and seal Main water pump Upper tensioner Anything else I should consider?
