alloy vs steel g60 pulleys??

i brought my pulley from jabba a few years back.he told me they use steel cus the alloy ones tend to sharpen up from belt wear...which sort of makes sense

 

now i realise jabba are bandits :p ...i just wondered if anyone has any opinon on steel vs alloy

Alloy pulleys sharpen up?!?! Yeah if the alloy they use has an element of swiss cheese!

 

Alloy pulleys dont rust and are a lot lighter. Remember its a spinning weight.

cheap alloy pulleys are imho dangerious as the are made from cheap materials than can wear very quickly and it has been seen for the pulleys to sharpen and damage belts/ also fracture.... this is what drew us to have our own pulleys made from quailty aluminum and then hard anadiosed at least we now have peice of mind in our own products... :lol:

Firkin...we be having words.... U only paid for a Alloy one and you have had one of the Titaniums ones.. you owe us 1500 quid mates!!! No worries.. we got ya car at the mo..you can have it back when you paid up. :D
