Headlamp switch removal

Recommended Posts

Apologies for asking such a straighforward question its simply that in my experience Corrado parts have a tendancy to break if not handled correctly and with care. So that said could someone offer advice as to how best to correctly remove the switch whilst minimising the risk of damage. Thankyou.

I've always just prised the right hand side of the switch with a large flat bladed screwdriver, then the same on the other side until I can pull it out.

I use a couple of thicknesses of masking tape on the trim where you lever the screwdriver to give it a bit of protection.

i take the dash apart around it and push it out from behind.

Take the fuse tray out. Put your hand up inside the dash behind the dash switch and push it out.
