that pic was when it was just put on. I don't think it looks much different now to be honest. It did just get a clean in the service though.

Jabba must be making a healthy profit on those then - 35quid plus a bit of rubber tube and a perspex heatsheild for £150!

 

I disagree. :lol: They use a heatshield made from the best heat insulating metal on the planet - £150 is an absoloute bargain. :lol: :lol:

I must have been drugged when I bought mine. :(

 

It was the excitement of being in a garage where the I thought the staff knew what they were doing - "act in haste & repent at leisure" is a phrase which springs to mind. :lol:

i made mine from some sheet steel. it goes from front to back totally separating the engine from the "air zone" it touches the bonnet to to create the best seal i could in a couple of hours.
