joebloggsVR69 0 Posted October 10, 2011 Hi all, I tried to register on the http://www.vw-classicparts.de/ website last week, but the registration form asked for stuff like a VAT number, company number, customer ID.... So I entered '-' in these fields, as I'm not a company, just an individual :) Anyway, I've not heard back from them - do they only allow new registrations for companies/garages? How have any of you guys managed to order parts from them? Cheers!
Portent 0 Posted October 10, 2011 I've not used them yet but VW Heritage seem to resuypply some of their parts: http://www.vwheritage.com/vw_act_vwclassicparts.home_lang_EN_country_GB.htm
RW1 0 Posted October 10, 2011 (edited) You don't have to register with .de Just do your order on the fly. You will get a quote with shipping on your email account you provide. Respond to it as in the letter. I just ring up quoting the reference on the email and settle credit card over the phone. Arrives about 4 days later via VW logistics carrier DHL. (PS. They speak English very well, friendly guys) . Edited October 10, 2011 by RW1
