Simon vr6 10 Posted February 6, 2012 Hi just wondered if anyone could give me any advice on the running of my VR6. Engine seems to be "bucking" whilst cruising along and when i try to push the engine over 4000rpm the engine doesnt seem to respond. Acceleration is fine almost all of the time until it reaches 4000rpm then seems to bottom out. This has decreased the mpg and cant seem to get it over 23mpg! Any ideas on what the problem may be? KADVR6 0 Posted February 6, 2012 could be loads of things mate plugs/coilpack/knock sensor/maf to name a few, best to try and find someone with vagcom or someone with a vr6 so you can try there parts on your car until you find out what it is?? but it might not be that simple??
