G60MAT 0 Posted February 20, 2012 (edited) Azev AS Genuine 2 Piece Split Rims - These are NOT Azev A's the 1 piece wheel, but the dare I say rare 2 piece split rims in VW fitment. Bought in a very sorry state off a Mk3 Golf VR6 the wheels had a full refurb on 27th May 2011 by Prestige Wheels in Stockport - £360. Professionally repaired, the wheels were split with the centres and caps painted matt black and outer barrel lips polished. New centre caps screws and a genuine Azev centre cap tool were sourced from Germany - £12 each. Brand new Toyo Proxes tyres when then purchased from Blackcircles - £260 plus delivery. Tyres were then fitted and balanced by Euro Tyres - £50. I have receipts for all the above, plus the original cost of the wheels. I then ran the wheels for the show season on my Corrado VR6 untill October, they were then cleaned and have been garaged since. The front 2 tyres are scrap due to running too much camber, the backs have about 6mm of even ware, but a couple of small marks where they have touched the rear arches - not deep and no chunks missing. 3 wheels are mint condition in the pictures, the forth had some small kerb marks, these have now been fixed back at Prestige Wheels (Feb 2012). What you get: 4x Genuine Azev AS 17x8" 5x100 ET is in the 30's but cannot see exact number due to paint. 4x Genuine Azev AS Centre Caps 4x Genuine Azev Centre Cap Screws 1x Genuine Azev AS Centre Cap Tool 4x Toyo Proxes T1R 205/40/17 Will fit cars such as Golf Mk3 VR6, Golf Mk4, Corrado VR6, Audi TT Mk1, and any other VAG family cars with 5x100 hubs. I am not looking for PX or silly offers, i'm not desperate to sell, they can sit in the garage.
