Saying that I am in no rush so will not let it go for silly money. The car started life as a vr6 and then was converted to an r32 in 2009 using a mk5 lump which currently has around 17k on it. I bought it in back in Oct 2010 after the conversion was done. This is a real sleeper as it looks bog standard but it is a real beast and I have loved driving it. Unfortunately it has been on sorn since around Jan 11 as I moved house and didn't have the funds to insure this and my daily however it has been stored in a garage for the whole time and regularly warmed up etc to keep it running as it should. The car therefore has no mot (ran out aug 11) however I don't really see there being a problem in getting one. I have a big folder full of receipts and bits going back a number of years. So the spec: body has just over 122k on it and is in very good condition, no rust at all. bit of damage on the drivers door (pic included) underbody wax sprayed to protect mk5 r32 lump with 17k on it remap by the vag doctor vr6 gearbox with quaiffe dif battery in the boot koni coilies bonrath reinforced top mounts mk5 r32 accelerator pedal mk5 r32 standard ecu milltek exhaust bmc cda spoiler still works B&M quickshift mocal oil cooler many new genuine bits fitted in 2009 and hardly any mileage since. mileage on mot in aug 2010 was 120k so hardly any miles covered over the last 2 years. Does have a couple of bad bits but nothing major at all: sunroof does sometimes stick on closing which is common on these cars headlight switch can be tempremental knock to the door temp guage and rev needle don't work. I have the canbus converter however which will solve this. electric mirrors not very electric lol needs 2 new tyres hence the highline wheel currently used however I have the other speedline also This really is a nice car and a credit to its previous owners. It shouldn't be sitting in my garage any longer!!! To add i'm sure you all will know but the sound of this with milltek is amazing. I smile everytime I switch it on :) All it needs is a set of wheels and dropping a bit more and thats it. I'm sure I've probably missed a lot so feel free to ask! I am open to offers.
