Jack_B 10 Posted May 9, 2012 Afternoon all, trying to upgrade my front calipers and come across a problem with the new (2nd hand) ones i've bought. i'm attempting to wind them back, have got one in now (not without a hell of a lot of effort mind you) but the other wont move, so much so in fact that i've bent the metal retaining plate on the wind back tool. do this indicate it seized? or knackered or what? any ideas what i can do? cheers! Tigerfish 10 Posted May 9, 2012 It would suggest it is seized. Although the front calipers don't need "winding back" so to speak, the should just push straight in.
