Ka` 0 Posted April 5, 2004 Is that then 82 yo gentleman with a 16v among us? Just watching the TV program, he can't drive further than his own drive :D Cheers, Rica
Bojmobile 0 Posted April 6, 2004 I heard about that! That's crazy - was on the telly last night - yeah?
Ka` 0 Posted April 6, 2004 Yeah, I'll see whether I can extract it from the TiVo, just for a minute's worth of fun. It was funny how while accelerating to the mighty speed of maybe two miles an hour on his drive, he was desperately pressing the spoiler up button at the same time. *lol* Cheers, Rica
Andy Brookes 0 Posted April 6, 2004 I saw that last night, made me laugh. Old guy from Scotland who had been done for speeding, not sure how long his ban was for. He called himself the oldest boy racer in britain. And yes he drove a H reg 16V Corrado. I think the interior was a red and black leather retrim, with a nice wooden steering wheel!! I also liked the tow bar mod on the rear bumper, you need to see it to believe it. Funny.
Bojmobile 0 Posted April 6, 2004 I think we all need to see this! Takes all sorts eh? 8)
Ka` 0 Posted April 6, 2004 I'll extract it, DivX it and then try to see where I can host it. Have to protect my own bandwidth  Then a question, how do I know whether an interior is Campaign or not? I know they are rare as, but there must be something that separates it from cheap imitations? Was just watching that proggie yesterday and at a glimpse, I thought it was genuine. Henny 0 Posted April 6, 2004 Look at the headrest... if it's not got an emblem embossed into it, it's not a campaign interior... 8)
Andy Brookes 0 Posted April 6, 2004 From what i can remember from the program Rica the interior was bright red and black, black backs to the seats and red bolsters etc.....but its all a bit hazy as it was only a quick flash on the screen. The capaign interior is a deeper red with purple strip's running across the seats. Pic attached. Andy
Ka` 0 Posted April 6, 2004 Thanks brookesy and Henny, Definitely was not a campaign interior then Cheers, Rica
biggrim 0 Posted April 6, 2004 Think that guy was at the Bathgate show a few years back, really tidy and clean car IIRC.
Ka` 0 Posted April 6, 2004 So, The video is 2Mb, shoddy quality, or a lot more with better quality.. I'll see whether I can cram it somewhere, but in the meantime here are the pictures of the interior with lovely wooden wheel and the *cough* nicely executed towhook in bumper conversion.
