Urgent spring seat part number help

Hi All,

 

I'm struggling to understand if the spring top seat i have is the right part or not, the part I have is number 8 on Etka 1H0 412 341

 

And it doesn't seem to sit right on the spring.

 

I'm wondering if i need number (8) which is 1J0 412 341 ?????

 

My chassis number is SK00 2321 and a 1995 car, the springs are paint code 4 pink & 1 green

 

If anyone could help as soon as poss as i'll need to order them pronto :/

There are two types of spring cap. The difference is the diameter of the top coil of spring.

 

Late plates are nearly flat, the early ones look more like a small metal hat.

 

I have photos but hard to link them on phone.

 

Will try find a thread I made about it.
