fry 0 Posted April 4, 2003 I have a fairly high mileage 1.8 16v and have been toying with the idea of having a g60 conversion later in the year. I know I could sell mine and buy a g60 but am reluctant to do so as most will have the same mileage and the history on my car is top there are receipts for every job big or small and the service history is fully stamped blah blah blah.. what sort of price would I be looking to pay for a standard g60 lump and running gear? does anyone (businesses) sell em with warranties etc... cheers. fry :roll: Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
W3RKD 0 Posted April 5, 2003 the one thing you have to consider now is that for the price of a complete g60 engine/loom etc you can now also get a 20vt with alot less miles on it! ok it is going to cost a bit more to put in the car but you will need to change all the loom even if you go for the g60... i hate to say it but the 20vt does have far more tuning possiblaties ... worth a think ehh??
