cant get it up.(windows)

My drivers side window is stuck,in the down position.

All the right noises are there when you press the switch.ie from behind the drivers side rear card.and the passenger side window works fine.can anybody give me any pointers or hints in the right direction?

Driving to work this morning was a bit nippy,let alone the security side of things.

Any help greatly appreciated.

When you press and hold the up button does the motor continue to run, can you hear the mechanism rising or trying to rise?

 

Get the door card off mate, probably be obvious once you take a look.

Indeed it was obvious.just a loose connection,resoldered it and alls good again.thanks for the help.
