sunroof motor

not had my corrado long and im slowly making my way through the few small niggles it has.

 

the sunroof isnt working so i set too diagnosing, removed the cover and turned it on the allen key and everything works fine tilt and slide wise, there is power to the motor, when you flick the switch it clicks inside the motor so it must be goosed, can these be serviced, rebuilt?

Is the allen key hole covered by the flap when you operate the motor? They won't work and will just click if it is uncovered.
