Running lumpy

Recommended Posts

Hi all after the other day when we had heavy rain and flooding my 9a has been playing up. On start up runs fine when you try to drive it bogs down and struggles to go. Clears up after a minute or so but its really annoying. Runs fine after it clears up. Ive changed the dizzy cap and rotary arm to no joy. Any idea please people.

Thanks dan

Possibly lambda/oxygen sensor wiring, or the sensor itself? If not then possibly temperature sensor (or associated wiring) near the dizzy cap? That would be my guess.

Right ive looked for a vacum leak and i cant find anything. Checked the plug to the dizzy and it all seemed in order far as i could tell. But when i clipped it back together noticed that the bit it clips in is broken and wobbles about. Could that be the cause? Really doing my head in now :(

have you looked for a vacuum leak using brake or carb cleaner. it is the easiest way of finding a vacuum leak rather than just looking over the hoses
