Alastair1 10 Posted March 18, 2013 Can anyone help regarding if there is ABS on my 1995 VR6 I was replacing the rear brake shields and a flanged washer on the stub axel behind the brake disk was rusted and needs replaced. Local VW garage said they were different depending on if the car had ABS or not. How can I tell if the car has ABS, there does not seem to be anything other than the disk and the calliper at the rear brakes except for what looks like a brake pipe that fits directly onto a small fitting on the stub axel.
