Quick one ! - which is water temp sensor

Hello all .

 

I want to test my water temp sensor and make sure

My vr6 water temp gauge works . Out off the 3 which is the corrado sensor .

 

I have a yellow with 4 wires , blue with 2 and a black with 2

Yellow tells the dashboard and blue tells the ECU

Which wires do I bridge to text the gauge ?

Thanks , looks like the yellow is the one I need . Anyone know how I test the water gauge inside ?

The easiest way is to run the engine up to temperature and compare the gauge reading to the oil temp from the MFA; they should be about the same. You can also read the value from the blue sender with VAG-COM/VCDS.
