diarmaid16 1 Posted April 11, 2013 I've spotted a nice one of these for sale and I think I'm going to go have a look at it. My knowledge of VAG cars apart from corrados is limited to say the least! I see there are 2 types of 2litre engines: the FSI and 20V. Is there any way to tell the difference between these two or how to find out which type this car might have? Also, it's supposed to be a sport model so what features should it have if it is a sport? Any help would be appreciated. Cheers Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
emu 0 Posted April 11, 2013 well don't know if audi used them but there is 2.0 8v 115 ps version. 20v engine is quiet bulletproof. My mate has it in his passat and he uses car as a work horse and his no bother about service etc. What I mean his changing oil once every two years. cam belt did at 105k miles. 135k miles on same clutch but he still got SMF. His car never let him down. I have 2.0 8v in my passat and it's a bit to slow for me but again, it usually never brakes. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
