Aqua Blue Pearl 2.0 16v for £550 in London

Recommended Posts

2.0 16v | Aqua Blue Pearl | London

Price: £550

Description:

i am debating on selling my corrado 16V, this has been off the road for some years although i had it MOTd a couple of years ago. main reason why I have to let go is I know I'm not going to have time to get this sorted due to my wedding and work situation.

its the Aqua Blue pearl colour.

She has covered 73K genuine miles and all the electrics work fine and there are no bolster wears to seats. I carried out an engine conversion on this approx, 5 yrs ago; installed the mk3 golf gti 2L 16V ABF engine, which is 150BHP standard; we had all the block oil seals replaced (although engine had only covered 60k) and had a new clutch installed. In addition there is a re-mapped ECU carried out by AMD and the car seems to pull faster than my VR6 and must say is fast and no doubt economical at same time. sad thing is I just don't have time for these car projects anymore :-(

.. however, the body work needs attention; are minor dents on panels, wing will need replacing due to a large dent which I already have a replacement (same colour) and also needs a front bumper as lower section has been damaged (again I have a replacement). The Rado has koni adjustable suspension; car is sits with a perfect drop. You will be seeing the car for eactly what she is; once the bodywork is sorted this will be mint with a quality and very reliable economical engine set up but with alot more power than the original Corrado 2L 16V!

For those who don't know about the ABF 150BHP engine, VW had this engine restricted due to the VR6 being their top spec model (the golf VR6 was 20BHP higher than the 16V). This engine is suited to 170BHP and is around 165BHP at present.

Anyhow, it's a shame to see this go as alot of effort was put into doing the conversion; all the wiring loom and control modules for the engine are as per the original mk3 16V GTI set up (1997).

I will be looking at taking £600 which is a steal when you think about what you will be getting. Also not forgetting this engine has also covered alot less than the 73K miles and in addition has also been overhauled!..no doubt this will be a reluctant sale, if i let her go!

I will get photos up real soon.
