Moreado 10 Posted May 25, 2013 Hey guys. Hope Im in the right place. My mechanic has fallen asleep/Taking his time to fix the car so I've taking it upon myself to assemble to fuel pump/lift pump. Can anyone tell me - Where the screen is supposed to go? How snug does the lift pump nipple go into the connection? (don't wanna force it) How to reconnect the lines? The last owner must have spent hours making donuts on beaches and as a result a LOT of sand is hanging around the fuel tank hole which is a bit worrying. Is it ok to use a Plastic Pipette to suck up dots of sand that are floating on the surface or will the new fuel filter be able to look after it?
