stevec14 10 Posted August 4, 2013 HI All 8 years ago at the age of 33 I sold my Corrado G60 under the promise that the new owner would offer me 1st refusal if he were to sell. 3 weeks into his ownership he had a rear end shunt, and that was that. Corrado was in quite a rare colour (light grey metallic) and had new charger, very good history and an excellent clifford concept 500 alarm. Anyway Have now purchased another Corrado G60 in satin silver and can't wait to get behind the wheel again. Have to do little things to get car ready, already sorted out bodywork(sills),Front fog lights, high idle problem, high running temp problem(rad temp switch), Drivers electric seat problem plus bolster sag and many other issues. Phew! Have just got to sort out fuel tank bracket repair(in drivers' rear wheel arch) have to drop fuel tank! Car runs really sweet and has very good history on engine and supercharger. Plus as mentioned Ultra violet Electric Recaro interior. When I sell my A4 1.9 tdi quattro avant will be able to use corrado. And hopefully attend some shows, meet some of my fellow corrado enthusiasts. Will be tagging along with Newportedition(local club). Steve Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

But due to bodywork repairs' taking longer than anticipated :bonk:, had to reluctantly give in. Anyway hoping to have on road soon (car is taxed and Motd) just need to sell my A4! James. 7 Posted August 4, 2013 Generally speaking, Silver does nothing for me on most cars. Seeing another great Corrado in silver today confirmed that it's now up there with the best colours ! (Damn I regret not buying that silver one twelve months ago). Anyway, back on topic. Welcome back, great car ( Recaro, lowered and BBS RZ so job done on the styling mods )and we need to see more... Stainless fuel tank straps and fuel tank neck bracket repair(tank straps look loverly) G60 supercharger killer! Aux counter balance weight drive belt changed 11 mm 120xl gates belt(one heck of a job) Alternator cleaned and tested. Radiator fan housing shot blasted and repainted Jobs to do Change lock barrel on passenger door so that one key does all. Paint brake calipers (what colour do you think?) Raise front of car(too low for my liking) Engine oil change.
