Cheers Adam Having just stripped down my spare fan assembly to get a quieter motor I removed the belt whilst the assembly was off the rad. I can't imagine it's that easy in situ but I haven't tried. Removing the assembly shouldn't be that difficult leaving the rad in place though I wouldn't have though, it's only 3-4 bolt I think. I've also now got a spare belt but was gonna keep it. If you can't get one from the stealers then let me know - it's used so I don't know how 'pliable' it is or how likely it is to break though. Best of luck.
