wheel bolts

what size are they? i want to fit my RX2 but the bolts holding on the current borbets are taper i believe and i need some radius ones. I found a load in my garage but they must be from a later VW as they are too big to pass through the wheel.

What model is your corrado? I believe you need 12x24 1.5 thread pitch. You can double check on VW parts website such as http://store.blackforestindustries.com/wheels2.html

 

They always post good bolt specs on there. Hope that helps.

****, I've got Borbet C's to fit as my winter wheels, my summer wheels are BBS RS771. I'm guessing thus means that my bolts from the BBS wheels are not gonna fit the Borbets?!

When I fitted my MK3 Anni RX2's I just used std Corrado VR6 wheel bolts?

As a general rule of thumb, standard fitment VW wheels use radius bolts while after market wheels use tapered bolts. If your wheels are four stud, you need M12 x 1.5 bolts. If your wheels are five stud, you need M14 x 1.5 bolts.

Cool that explains it, I must have m14 radius and I need m12. 94 valver 4 stud

 

As has been said oem wheels will be radius, after market will be taper. You don't want to be mixing and matching people, dodgy.
