Idling Issues In Heavy Rain

Hi I have a G60 and I have a problem and thought id ask see if its happened to anyone else.

 

Only when its really heavy rain when i start her she idles like she's on 3 pots sounds really lumpy and horrible and I have hardly any power when I try and rev her :scratch: this goes after a few mins most of the time.

 

Any advice would be appreciated

Obviously check the air box for moisture but I'd suspect the ignition side, maybe moisture or condensation is affecting the distributor or plug leads

Had similar issues on a vr and a 1.8 golf it was the coilpack on both occassions
